  33. I've managed to scrounge various bits of kit, and have a working
  34. 386PC with mono monitor, 40MB hard disk, ne2000 card, IO
  35. card, keyboard for stlg80 :-). I'm hoping to get it set up as a gateway
  36. eventually. What I was wanting to know regards the serial chip on
  37. the IO card. Is there anyway to tell whether it has an 8250 or a
  38. 16550 (I'd prefer the later). I was thinking that maybe there was
  39. a software method of determining whether you've got the FIFO queue
  40. or not. I've looked on the card itself and there's nothing obvious.
  41. I was also wondering if there's any way to tell from within NOS
  42. (by looking at the watermark stats? after a real packet blast)
  43. Lastly is there any documentation for the remote server anywhere?
